Dancers must have completed at least two years of dedicated ballet training (DDC Ballet 2/ 2X). No previous dance experience is required to enjoy dance camps at DDC!įirst Focus workshops are perfect for dancers 10 to 12 years of age who have just begun to have a serious, focused interest in dance training. Multi-week and family discounts available. Two craft or educational periods as well as a lunch break with video watching and quiet time round out the day. Cost $180 or $310. Campers are released to their parents after the performance.Ī typical camp day includes two dance classes and two choreography sessions where the campers learn their dances for the end of the week. They are transported by school bus to the theatre where they practice on stage and get ready for the performance. Half Day campers must be picked up promptly at 1:00 pm except on Friday when all campers stay all day. ![]() Campers may be dropped off as early as 8:30 am and picked up as late as 5:30 pm at no additional cost. A Half Day option from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm is also available. ![]() On Friday, a fully costumed evening performance will showcase what the campers have learned. I think it's a good opportunity to get you to take classes outside of your studio and away from the dancers you always dance with!
